Lubbock – Solo-Vehicle Collision on 42nd Street

A single-vehicle accident on 42nd Street sent one person to the hospital last November 25th, Monday.

According to police reports, the incident happened at approximately 9:00 p.m. on 42nd Street near Knoxville Avenue. A vehicle had been traveling along the roadway when, for reasons that had not yet been determined, it went out of control and crashed. The force of the impact left the driver of the vehicle with serious injuries. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he was given proper medical treatment. No one else was injured.

The Lubbock Police Department is determining the reason that caused the driver to lose control of the car.

An investigation is underway.
