Lubbock – One Dies When Two Vehicles Collided on Milwaukee Avenue

Lubbock law enforcement officials confirmed that one person died as a result of a car accident on Milwaukee Avenue near Altitude Trampoline Park, Monday afternoon.
Just before 3:30 p.m., police received a call reporting a vehicle collision Along 50th Avenue near Milwaukee Avenue. According to the report, a gray Ford Focus was heading south on Milwaukee when it collided with a Ford F-250 pickup truck heading north. A preliminary investigation shows that the Focus was attempting to make a turn onto 50th when the F-250 suddenly shifted towards the center lane, resulting in a crash.
One occupant in the car sustained critical injuries from the impact. He was taken to UMC with moderate injuries. Meanwhile, the driver, whose identity remains unknown, died. The driver of the truck was not hurt.
All lanes of Milwaukee Avenue were shut down for clearing. An investigation is ongoing.
