Lubbock – Motorcyclist Killed in 34th Street

A Lubbock man was killed after getting into a collision with a pickup truck on 34th Street, early Saturday morning.
According to the Lubbock Police Department, the motorcycle crash was reported at around 1:00 a.m. at the intersection of Indiana Avenue and 34th Street. A motorcycle was traveling along the westbound lane when, for yet unknown reasons, it struck the rear side of a Ford F-150 pickup truck that was stopped at the red light on 34th Street. The force of the impact left the motorcycle with serious injuries. He died at the scene.
The driver of the pickup truck was not hurt.
No identification has been released pending notification of the victim’s next of kin.
