Lubbock – Hit and Run Leaves Woman Hurt

A woman sustained injuries following a two-vehicle collision on 66th Street in Lubbock.
Police said the incident happened at around 1:00 p.m. on 66th St near Upland Avenue.
A Ford F-250 pickup truck was seen traveling along the roadway when it failed to adhere to the traffic sign and drove into the path of another car. As a result, both vehicles crashed into each other, leaving one female occupant injured. Emergency crews provided aid to the victim but it was not confirmed if she was taken to a hospital for further medical treatment.
Based on the initial investigation, the driver of the pickup truck ran a red light and fled the scene following the incident. His location has not yet been released at this time.
