Lubbock – 4 Hospitalized Following Auto Crash on 82nd Street

Several people were sent to a hospital after getting involved in a vehicle accident on 82nd Street, Thursday.
According to initial reports, the accident took place at the 100 block of 82nd St in Lubbock. How the crash happened remains unclear at this time but it was confirmed that a sport utility vehicle and a pickup truck crashed into each other for reasons that had not yet been determined by responding officers. Upon impact, the pickup truck rolled over a number of times, leaving three occupants injured. The driver of the SUV also sustained moderate injuries. All injured parties were immediately taken to the nearest hospital where they received further medical attention. The victims’ conditions, as well as their identification, were withheld until their immediate family relatives have been notified.
No charges have been made as the crash remains under investigation at this time.
