Lubbock – 22-year-old Jamie Valdez Died Following I-27 Collision

The man who was killed after getting involved in a tragic vehicle collision has been identified by Lubbock law enforcement officials, according to a local news source. The fatality was named as 22-year-old Jamie Valdez. According to initial reports, Valdez was seen driving near 7300 block of Interstate 27 when, for yet unknown reasons, it left the roadway. When he tried to overcorrect the car, it then crashed into a Chevrolet pickup truck that was passing the highway. Valdez’s car then rolled over before coming to rest.

When emergency crews arrived at the scene, they found Valdez suffering from serious injuries. He was rushed to the hospital for treatment. However, his condition remains unknown at this time.
