Los Fresnos – Rollover Collision on Highway 100

The Los Fresnos Police Department is conducting an investigation about a vehicle accident that took place on Highway 100 near Ocean Boulevard, last Saturday morning.
According to the initial report, local troopers were requested at the 400 block of Ocean Boulevard, just across the street from Wingstop, to assist in a crash involving two vehicles. When they arrived at the scene, they found a small silver sport utility vehicle landed on its roof while a maroon sedan has damages on its trunk. The circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear at this time.
Traffic headed towards the Island was backed up on Highway 100.
Los Fresnos Police and Texas Department of Public Safety are both at the scene to assist in the clearing. Anyone who has information relevant to the case is encouraged to get in contact with local authorities.
