Longview – Woman Identified Following Mobberly Avenue Crash

The woman who died in a deadly two-car accident on Mobberly Avenue has been named by Longview local authorities, Wednesday morning.
The fatality was identified as 57-year-old Kristyne Iron.
Just after 7:21 a.m., Iron was driving a black Pontiac sedan along the northbound lane of Mobberly Avenue when it crashed into a white Chrysler Town and Country. The force of the impact ejected Iron from her vehicle. She was immediately taken to Christus Good Shepherd Medical Center where she was later deceased at the scene. Meanwhile, the driver of the other vehicle also suffered from injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment. His identification has not yet been released at this time.
Longview police have yet to determine the cause of the collision. The investigation is underway.
