Longview – Vehicle Collision on Interstate 20

Last Friday, an unspecified number of people sustained injuries following a vehicle accident on Interstate 20 near mile marker 595.
Just after 5:00 a.m., police received a call reporting a collision on the westbound lane of I-20. When they arrived at the scene, the found a vehicle with external damages. At least one person was reportedly injured and was given proper medical treatment by emergency crews. It was not clear if they were rushed to a hospital for further medical attention.
How the crash actually happened remains unclear at this time. Anyone who has information relevant to the case is encouraged to get in contact with authorities.
The crash is under investigation by Longview Police Department.
