Longview – Head-on Collision on Dundee Rd

A vehicle accident on Dundee Road near Pine Tree Road caused the death of one person and injuries to two more people, a local news source reported.

Just before 2:00 a.m., police responded to the 2900 block of Dundee Road to assist in a crash involving a speeding driver. A Chevrolet Impala was seen heading west on Dundee Rd when it crashed into an eastbound Kia Amanti. As a result, both drivers of the vehicles involved sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was rushed to a local hospital for treatment. Their condition was not disclosed. Meanwhile, a passenger in the Impala suffered from fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased by local paramedics.

Longview police said Chevrolet was traveling in the opposite direction at the time of the accident. No charges have been made at this time.
