Longview – Glynn Stone Killed in Auto Crash on East Loop 281

Longview law enforcement officials have identified the person who died in a solo vehicle collision on East Loop 281, last Thursday, March 19th.

The fatality was identified as Glynn Stone Jr.

At around 5:00 p.m., police received a call reporting a vehicle accident on East Loop 281 in Longview. How the crash actually happened remains unclear at this time but it confirmed that the driver of the vehicle involved sustained fatal injuries. He was taken to Longview Regional Medical Center where he was declared deceased. He was identified as Glynn Stone Jr. Police said Stone was a senior pastor of Mobberly Baptist Church in Longview, Texas.

Area investigators have yet to determine the circumstances leading up to the accident. No charges have been made at this time.
