Longview- Car accident on Loop 281

A vehicle collision which involved a semi-truck occurred on West Loop 281, Wednesday afternoon.
The said car crash took place at around 1:45 p.m. According to the Longview Police Department, a Nissan passenger vehicle was traveling along the road when, for yet unknown reasons, it struck the rear of a semi-truck. Police said that the semi-truck was attempting to make a turn to Loop 281 when the incident happened.
The driver of one of the vehicles, identified only as a female driver, sustained injuries that were considered non-life threatening. She was wearing a seat belt when the wreck occurred.
No other injuries were reported as of this writing.
Investigation is still in progress.
