Longview – Auto Collision on Highway 80

At least one person was injured following an auto collision on West Loop 281 in Longview.
According to the incident report, the collision took place on Hwy 80 last Monday. How the crash happened remains unclear at this time but it was confirmed that at least one person sustained injuries. He was given treatment by emergency crews who responded to the scene. His condition, as well as his identification, has not yet been released by responding authorities.
No one else was injured.
The Longview Police Department was requested at the scene to determine the circumstances leading up to the crash. Anyone who has information relevant to the case is encouraged to get in contact with LDP.
An investigation is underway.
