Longview – 1 Injured on Interstate 20 Crash

The Longview Police Department is investigating a vehicle accident on Interstate 20, Monday afternoon.

At around 3:20 p.m., local officers were dispatched to Interstate 20 near South Eastman Road in response to a call reporting a vehicle accident. Police did not release details of the crash but they confirmed that a vehicle crashed along the roadway, leaving one person injured. The victim was rushed to a local hospital where he received further medical treatment. His condition, as well as the extent of his injuries, was not disclosed.

No one else was injured.

Investigators have yet to determine the factors that contributed to the crash.
