Lipscomb – Man Died in Head-on Crash on Texas 305

The Texas Department of Public Safety is looking into a solo-vehicle accident on State Highway 305, a local news source reported.

At around 5:30 p.m., local police officials were dispatched to SH 305 in Lipscomb County in response to a call reporting a vehicle accident. Initial investigation indicates that a vehicle had been traveling along the highway when, for reasons that had not yet been determined, it left the roadway and crashed into a tree nearby.

The force of the impact fatally injured the driver of the vehicle. He succumbed to his injuries, as per local paramedics.

Area investigators arrived at the scene to determine the reason that caused the driver to lose control of the car and veered off the roadway.

An investigation is underway.
