Liberty – Woman Hurt Following a Car Crash on FM 563

The Liberty Police Department is conducting an investigation about a vehicle accident on Farm to Market Road 563 that sent one person to a hospital last June 25, according to Texas Department of Public Safety.

Based on a preliminary investigation, a Chevrolet Trailblazer was seen traveling along FM 563 at around 9:00 p.m. For reasons that had not been determined, the driver of the Chevrolet lost control of the vehicle, left the roadway, and crashed into a tree. The Chevrolet ended up partially overturned after striking another tree.

The impact of the crash left the female driver, whose name has not been released, with unknown injuries. She was immediately transported to a local hospital where she was listed in critical condition.

Authorities are still determining the reason why the driver lost control of the car.
