Lewisville – Woman Died in Texas 121 Crash Identified

The Lewisville Police Department has named the woman who died in a car accident on Texas 121 Highway last Wednesday, January 1st.
The fatality was identified as 25-year-old Jennifer Greer.
Initial investigation shows that a Chevrolet Cavalier was traveling along the southbound lane of Texas Highway 121 when it crashed into a GMC Terrain that was heading north. The driver of the Cavalier, whose identity has not yet been released, was rushed to a local hospital for treatment. His passenger, Jennifer Greer, sustained fatal injuries and was taken to the hospital where she later died.
The driver of the GMC Terrain was taken into custody on suspicion of DUI. She was later identified as 25-year-old Marissamary Guadalupe Pecina. She doesn’t have a passenger with her.
Area authorities are still investigating the crash.
