Leandar – Pedestrian Killed on Horizon Park Blvd ID’d

The Leander Police Department is conducting an investigating about a vehicle accident on Horizon Park Boulevard last October 14.

The fatality was identified as Hunter Levy Ching.

According to the initial investigation, the incident occurred at the 500 block of Horizon Park Blvd. A gray Ford pickup truck was heading south when it struck Hunter Ching who was reportedly lying on the roadway. When emergency crews arrived at the scene, just before 8:00 p.m., they found Ching with serious injuries. He was taken to St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries. Meanwhile, the driver of the pickup truck, identified only as a woman, stayed at the scene and is cooperating with area investigators.

No one else was injured.

Police did not confirm if the woman will be charged.
