Laredo – Motorcyclist Killed in Saunders Street Identified

Laredo police officials have identified the motorcycle rider who died in a fatal crash on Saunders Street near Bartlett Avenue, Saturday night.
The fatality was identified as Juan M. Guerra III, 28.
According to initial reports, Juan Guerra III was riding west on Saunders St near Bartlett Ave when it collided with a sedan that was travelling south on Bartlett Ave. He was transported to the nearest hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Meanwhile, the driver of the sedan was not injured. She was identified as Jessica Jeanette Vela, 19.
As per authorities, Guerra was travelling at an unsafe speed at the time of the accident. He also was not wearing a helmet.
No charges have been made as the investigation is still in progress.
