Laredo – Hit-and-Run Crash on Louisiana Ave Kills 1

A hit-run crash on Louisiana Avenue near Lomas del Sur Boulevard caused the death of one person, according to a local news source.

At around 2:18 p.m., police were called onto the scene of a collision on Louisiana Ave in Laredo. Initial investigation shows that two vehicles, for yet unknown reasons, collided with each other. The impact of the crash seriously injured the driver of one of the vehicles. He was only identified as a 77-year-old male. Meanwhile, the driver of the second car was not injured. However, he was taken into custody for questioning.

No one else was injured.

The Laredo investigation team was also requested at the scene to determine liability.
