Lanes on the Katy Freeway closed after 18-wheeler wreck

HOUSTON, TX – Multiple lanes on the Katy Freeway were closed after an 18-wheeler wreck this afternoon, the Houston Police Department reports.
I-10 Katy Freeway (eastbound) Service Road @ T.C. Jester, crash involving 18 Wheeler has all eastbound lanes of the service road blocked. Possible hazmat spill. Find alternate route. #houtraffic

The incident occurred at the freeway’s intersection with T.C. Jester Boulevard. The wreck closed down all eastbound lanes of the highway’s service road. Authorities also reported a possible hazmat spill.
