Lanes closed on Beltway 8 after accident

HOUSTON, TX – Several lanes of Beltway 8 were closed after a two-vehicle collision on the afternoon of Friday, June 26, Houston TranStar reports.
The cars collided at 2:44 p.m. at the intersection of Beltway 8 and the Hardy Toll Road. The highway’s left shoulder, left lane, center lane, opposing left shoulder, and opposing main lanes were shut down by the crash.
It is unclear at this time if anyone was injured in the crash. This is an ongoing story and will be updated should that information become available.
