Kyle – Man Injured on FM 1626

The Texas Department of Public Safety has released the name of the man injured in a head-on crash on FM 1626, last month.
According to initial reports, the incident took place just before 11:00 p.m. on Farm to Market Road near Kohlers Crossing. An undescribed vehicle was reportedly traveling along the highway when, for reasons that had not yet been determined, it crossed into the opposing lanes and crashed into another car. The impact of the crash seriously injured both drivers of the car. The driver of the second vehicle was later identified as 65-year-old Albert Corich. It was not confirmed if both drivers were sent to the hospital for further treatment.
No one else was injured, as per reports.
The Kyle Police Department is conducting an investigation.
