Killeen – Woman Killed in Fatal Motorcycle Collision on 38th Street

The Killeen Police Department is conducting an investigation about a car crash on 38th Street last Thursday.
Just after 6:00 p.m., local police responded to 38th St near Water Street to assist in a collision between a motorcycle, a car, and a pedestrian. A woman was seen crossing the road when she was struck by a passing vehicle. According to the report, the pedestrian witnessed a crash and tried to help an injured motorcyclist when the accident happened.
The impact of the collision seriously injured the female pedestrian. She later succumbed to her injuries, local paramedics said. Meanwhile, the operator of the motorcycle was taken to the nearest hospital where he was listed in a critical condition.
Authorities did not provide details about the vehicle that struck the victim and whether or not its driver remained at the scene.
The investigation continues.
