Killeen – Woman Killed in 38th Street Crash ID’d

The Killeen Police Department has released the name of the woman who died after getting hit by a car on 38th Street, last Thursday.
The fatality was identified as 51-year-0ld Pamela Kay Freeman.
According to initial reports, Freeman was attempting to cross the street near Water Street to help an injured motorcyclist when she was struck by a passing vehicle. She sustained significant injuries and was rushed to the nearest hospital for treatment. However, she succumbed to her injuries shortly after. The motorcyclist was also transported to a hospital with critical injuries. His identification was not released.
Authorities did not release information about the driver who struck Freeman. The investigation is ongoing.
