The Texas Department of Public Safety is conducting an investigation about a vehicular accident on State Highway 195, Monday.

According to initial reports, the incident happened on SH 195 near Briggs Road at approximately 6:00 a.m. Police said two semi-trucks were traveling along the highway when they somehow collided with each other. When emergency crews arrived at the scene, they found one of the drivers suffering from injuries. He was immediately taken to a local hospital where he received treatment. Local paramedics said his injuries were considered non-life-threatening. Fortunately, the other driver was not hurt.

Killeen city officials were also requested at the scene to determine the circumstances leading up to the collision. They believe the heavy fog and other weather conditions may have contributed to the accident.
