Killeen – One Killed in a Collision with Reckless Driver on Texas 195

At least one person died following a major vehicle collision on Texas Highway 195, Saturday.
According to police officials, an undescribed vehicle was traveling along Chaparral Road when it was struck by a Nissan SUV that, as per reports, ignored a red light at the cross street. The driver of the vehicle, identified as Patrick Stephens, 21, incurred injuries as a result of the collision. He later died at the scene. His passenger was rushed to Carl R. Darnall Medical Center with critical injuries. His identification was withheld.
Based on the initial investigation, Stephens was attempting to make a turn towards Texas 195 when the collision took place.
No words on the condition of the reckless driver who ran a red light.
The crash remains under investigation at this time.
