Killeen – Auto Collision on Interstate 14 Leaves 1 Injured

At least one person is injured following a car accident on Interstate 14 near a mall entrance, Monday night.
Just after 8:00 p.m., local officers were alerted of a collision between two vehicles on Interstate 14 near WS Young near an entrance of Killeen Mall. Details about how the accident took place are yet to be released but according to a news release, a driver was seen driving erratically along the highway when it crashed into a passing sport utility vehicle.
The impact of the collision injured an occupant in the SUV. He was then rushed to an area hospital for further care. Authorities did not release his identification as well as the extent of his injuries.
No words on the condition of the reckless driver.
The crash remains under investigation by Killeen Police Department.
