Kilgore – Rollover Collision on County Road 165

A solo-vehicle crash on County Road 165 caused the death of a teenage girl, Monday night.
According to initial reports, a 2000 Lincoln was traveling along the southbound lanes of CR 165 when its driver lost control of the vehicle upon as he approaches a curve. The vehicle drifted off the road, traveled across several lanes, and overturned. The impact seriously injured both the driver and his passenger.
The driver, identified as Demarcus Keshaun Holsome, 18, of Reklaw, was rushed to UT Health where he was listed in stable condition. His passenger, identified as Bagley Mahdessian, was taken to Christus Good Shepherd Medical Center for treatment. However, she was later pronounced dead by Judge Talyna Carlson.
Kilgore local officials arrived at the scene to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident. No charges have been made as of this writing.
