Kendall County – Bicycle vs Car Crash on Interstate 10

Local authorities have yet to release more information about a bicycle collision on Interstate 10, last Friday, August 2.
According to the release, Kendall County deputy officers were dispatched to the 30500 block of I-10, near Ancira GMC, to assist in a crash involving a gray car and a bicycle. Police said that a person was riding a bicycle near the frontage road when, for reasons that had not yet been determined, he was hit by a car that had been traveling east on Fair Oaks Boulevard.
The bicyclist, whose identity has not yet been released, sustained unknown injuries from the force of the impact. It was not confirmed if he was rushed to a local hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, the driver of the suspect vehicle did not stop to render aid to the victim. He was seen escaping the scene with damages to his vehicle’s front end and a missing side mirror on its passenger side.
Kendall County Police are looking for any information to assist with identifying the involved vehicle and driver.
