Kaufman County – 1 Hospitalized in Interstate 20 Crash

At least one person was injured following a car collision on Interstate 20 in Kaufman County, Friday afternoon.

Just after 4:00 p.m., police received a call reporting an auto accident on I-20. How the crash actually happened remains unclear at this time but it was confirmed that one person sustained significant injuries as a result of the collision. He was taken to the hospital where he was listed in critical condition. His identification was withheld pending notification of his next of kin.

No other injuries were reported.

The Kaufman County Police Department was requested at the scene to determine the circumstances leading up to the incident. An investigation is still in progress.
