Joshua – Driver Pinned in the Car Following Crash on CR 915

Multiple rescue officers were requested to assist in a crash on County Road 915 which resulted in the death of one person and injuries to several people, Saturday morning.
The incident took place at around 11:00 a.m. at the 5300 block of County Road 915 in Joshua. According to the initial investigation, a 2012 Ford Mustang was heading west on CR 915 when it drifted to the north side of the road, exit the roadway, and crashed into a tree. The Mustang then spun, causing three occupants to get thrown off the vehicle. The force of the impact trapped the Mustang driver inside the wreckage. He was extricated by emergency crews and transported to John Pete Smith Hospital in Fort Worth for serious injuries. His two passengers also sustained serious injuries and were rushed to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth. Their condition was not disclosed at this time.
A third passenger died from the injuries sustained from the impact.
