Joaquin – Man Died in Pickup Truck Crash FM 2787

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are conducting an investigation about a vehicle accident on Farm to Market Road 2787, Friday evening.
At around 9:30 p.m., a pickup truck was seen traveling along FM 2787 when, for reasons that had not yet been determined, it drifted off the roadway. The truck continued on and eventually crashed into a tree nearby. The impact of the crash left the driver with significant injuries. He later died at the scene, as per emergency crews.
Authorities have yet to release the victim’s identification.
No other injuries were reported.
The Joaquin Police Department also arrived at the scene to gather more information about the crash. An investigation is underway.
