Jasper – Speeding Crash on FM 777 Injured 3

At least three people were sent to the hospital after getting into a collision on Farm to Market Road 777 in Jasper last week.

According to the initial investigation, the incident took place at around 3:00 p.m. on FM 777 and FM 1747 in Jasper. A vehicle was reportedly speeding when its driver lost control of the car which caused it to leave the roadway and overturned. The impact of the crash seriously injured two occupants in the vehicle. They were taken to a hospital with serious injuries. A third occupant was also injured but emergency crews did not specify the extent of his injuries.

The identification of the victims was not released pending notification of their next of kin.

Area investigators believe speed may have played a factor in the crash. The investigation is still in progress.
