Jasper – ATV Collision Injured 2 on CR 249

At least two people were hospitalized following an all-terrain vehicle accident on County Road 249 in Jasper.

Last March 24th, police responded to CR 249 near County Road 256 after they received a call reporting an accident at around 6:00 p.m. Police said an ATV was traveling along the roadway when it went out of control and crashed into a sand bed. The impact caused the ATV to roll over, ejecting its driver. When emergency crews arrived, they found the driver, 15-year-old female teenager, and two occupants suffering from injuries. They were all taken to the hospital.

Authorities said the driver sustained serious injuries while others suffered from minor injuries.

No identification was released pending notification of the victims’ next of kin.
