Jasper – Aimee Coleson and Eddie Coleson Hospitalized in CR 249 ATV Crash

Texas Department of Public Safety officials named the occupants of the ATV that crashed on County Road 249 near County Road 256 in Jasper, Wednesday evening.
The victims were identified as 15-year-old Aimee Coleson and 52-year-old Eddie Coleson. According to reports, Aimee was driving the ATV along CR 249 when she hit a sand bend and lost control of the wheel. The vehicle continued on and rolled over, ejecting her and her passenger, Eddie Coleson. Emergency crews transported Aimee to a local hospital for treatment of her serious injuries. Her passenger, who was also his father was given treatment on the scene. His injuries were considered minor.
No other injuries were reported.
Jasper local officials are investigating the case.
