Jacksonville – Motorcycle Collision on Farm to Market Road 347

The Texas Department of Public Safety is currently investigating a motorcycle accident on Farm to Market Road 347 that happened last Thursday, April 2nd.
According to the initial report, the incident took place just before 4:00 p.m. on FM 347 near Jacksonville. A motorcycle was seen traveling along FM 347 when it suddenly went out of control upon approaching a curve. It continued on and crashed into a vehicle. The impact of the crash instantly killed the motorcycle operator who was identified as 57-year-old Bruce Craig Crockett. Fortunately, the driver of the other vehicle was not injured.
Police said Crockett was traveling at an unsafe speed when it failed to negotiate a curve.
No charges have been made as the investigation is still in progress.
