Jacknifed semi blocks all lanes of NB 146 at Wharton Weems

LA PORTE, TX – A jacknifed semi truck brought all northbound traffic on TX-146 to a standstill at Wharton Weems Boulevard this morning, TxDOT reports.

The accident was reported at 10:09 a.m., in a tweet that erroneously listed the cross street as Wharton Wheems. It was cleared almost exactly two hours later, at 12:09 p.m.
The cause of the incident is unclear at this time, as is whether anyone was injured. However, we will update this blog should that information become available.
