Jackknifed 18-wheeler delays traffic on Katy Fwy.

HOUSTON, TX – A jackknifed 18-wheeler shut down all eastbound lanes on the Katy Freeway early this morning.
According to Fox 26 Houston, the crash took place at about 3:30 p.m. near the exit to Heights Boulevard.
Police say the truck slammed into a concrete barrier, sending concrete into the window of a nearby patrol vehicle. The rig then jackknifed, blocked all main lanes of the freeway.
No injuries were reported as an immediate result of the crash. However, significant delays were reported in the area for some time after the crash.
