Irving— Sidney Dew, Tyrone Wilson Killed in Texas 183 Crash

Authorities have released the names of the victim who died in a car accident on Texas 183, early Monday morning.
According to initial reports, the fatal collision took place at around 3 a.m. Monday in the 3400 block of Texas 183. In the report released by the Irving Police Department, a sports utility vehicle was heading east along the westbound lanes of the highway when the crash happened. The said SUV then collided head-on with a Corvette, killing both drivers and injuring another passenger in the process.
The driver of the SUV was identified as Sidney Leigh Dew. She was a 40-year-old resident of Santa Ana, California. Authorities also identified the Corvette driver as Tyrone Wilson, 38, of Bedford.
Emergency crews transported the unidentified passenger to Parkland Memorial Hospital for treatment. He is listed in serious condition.
