Innocent driver hurt after being hit by chase suspect in northwest Harris County

HOUSTON, TX – An innocent driver was hurt after being hit by a chase suspect in northwest Harris County on Saturday morning, according to the team at ABC 13.
Authorities were chasing a white Dodge when the suspect slammed into the victim’s vehicle at Beltway 8 at Veteran’s Memorial Drive. The innocent driver’s car was totaled and the suspect’s vehicle flipped over.
The victim was trapped in wreckage before being rescued by emergency personnel. They were taken to the hospital with a heady injury.
The two suspects in the white Dodge were eventually detained by authorities. It is not clear why police were chasing the suspect.
