IH-10 closed after heavy truck incident

HOUSTON, TX – IH-10 was closed after a heavy truck incident on the afternoon of Wednesday, June 17, according to a tweet from the Texas Department of Transportation Houston District.
The picture included in the tweet appears to suggest that the top of the truck hit the bridge at IH-10 Katy and Houston Avenue. The tweet advised travelers to seek alternate routes as multiple main lanes were blocked.
