Hurst – Hit-and-run Crash Leaves 1 Dead on E Hurst Blvd

A 62-year-old man was pronounced deceased following a fatal bicycle accident on East Hurst Boulevard, last Tuesday night, April 7th.
According to the initial investigation, a bicycle was seen traveling along the roadway, near the 2100 block of E Hurst Blvd when a passing vehicle struck him. When emergency crews arrived at the scene, they found the victim on the ground, suffering from significant injuries. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died. His identification was not disclosed.
The driver of the vehicle had already escaped the scene when responding authorities arrived. His vehicle was described as a dark-colored SUV with damages on its right fender and bumper.
