HPD responds to hit-and-run crash on Jefferson St in downtown Houston

HOUSTON, TX — A hit-and-run collision was reported Thursday morning near Houston’s First Baptist Church in downtown Houston’s Central Business District, according to City of Houston.
Houston police responded to the scene at 1801 Jefferson St, near the Chenevert Street intersection, shortly before 7:30 a.m.
Details are limited, but authorities indicated an “FSRA” incident, in which one party failed to stop and render aid to another party after a crash resulting in likely injuries or death.
No information has been disclosed on the condition of the parties involved, but as of this writing, no fatalities have been reported in the event.
