HPD reports bicyclist struck by vehicle on Kirby Dr

HOUSTON, TX – A bicyclist was injured in an accident near Autry Park on Friday afternoon, according to the Houston Police Department.

The accident occurred in the 900 block of Kirby Drive, near Shepherd Drive, before 5:20 p.m.
A bicyclist, whose identity has yet to be publicly identified, was struck by a driver.
It is unclear if the driver stopped to render aid to the cyclist after the collision.
The cyclist’s condition was not immediately available.
