Houston – Woman Died in Fatal Car Accident on Clay Rd

A two-vehicle accident on Clay Road caused the death of one person and injuries to another, a local news source reported.

At around 3:00 a.m., Houston police officers were dispatched at the intersection of Clay and Brittmoore roads in response to a call reporting a vehicle accident. According to the report, a white Ford Focus had been traveling along the southbound lane when it collided with a black Chrysler Aspen that was heading east towards the intersection.

The impact of the crash caused the Chrysler to spin and hit a utility pole. Its driver was pronounced deceased by emergency crews. Meanwhile the driver of the Focus sustained injuries from the force of the impact. The extent of his injuries was not immediately disclosed by paramedics.

No one else was injured.

The crash remains under investigation.
