Houston – Victims Injured Following Eastex Freeway Crash Identified

Houston law enforcement officials have identified the victims injured in a major car accident on Eastex Freeway last October 28th.

The victims were identified as 32-year-old Josman Coutinho and 58-year-old Daniel Melchor.

At around 7:40 a.m., Coutinho was seen traveling along the freeway near Roach Road when he lost control of his vehicle, left the roadway, crashed into a fence before striking a number of vehicles parked nearby. When emergency crews arrived at the scene, they found two people suffering from injuries–Coutinho and another person, Daniel Melchor. They were both given medical treatment for their injuries that were considered serious.

Meanwhile, Countinho was arrested for driving while intoxicated causing serious bodily injury.

No further details are available as the investigation is still in progress.
