Houston – Pedestrian Struck by Car on South Dairy Ashford Rd

A pedestrian was pronounced deceased after getting hit by a vehicle on South Dairy Ashford Road in west Houston, Monday morning.

Just after 10:00 a.m., Houston local officials received a notification about an auto vs pedestrian accident on South Dairy Ashford Road near Skymeadow Drive. According to the report, a man was struck by an undescribed vehicle, leaving him with fatal injuries. When emergency crews arrived at the scene, they found a motionless man lying on the ground. The victim was declared deceased at the scene, as per initial reports.

The driver of the vehicle involved remained at the scene and waited for authorities to arrive. It is not confirmed if he will be facing any charges.

The victim’s identification will be released once his immediate family has been notified.
