Houston – Pedestrian Hospitalized Following Car Accident on Eldridge Parkway

At least one person was sent to the hospital following a major accident on North Eldridge Parkway, Sunday evening.

At around 7:30 p.m., police received a call reporting a vehicle collision on North Eldridge Parkway. Based on the initial investigation, a man was attempting to cross the roadway near Chimney Sweep Drive when he was struck by a car. The impact of the crash left the pedestrian with serious injuries. He was immediately taken to a local hospital where he was listed in an unknown condition. His identification was not released pending notification of his next of kin.

No other injuries were reported.

Houston police have yet to determine the circumstances surrounding the accident. The crash remains under investigation.
