Houston PD investigating fatal crash at 6800 Gessner Road

HOUSTON, TX – The Houston Police Department is investigating a fatal accident that occurred at 6800 Gessner Road at approximately 4:25 p.m. on Monday.
A male victim was pronounced dead at the scene. He has not yet been identified, the Houston County Institute of Forensic Sciences reports.
Sergeant D. Rodriguez and Officer O. Sulaiman report that the victim was driving a white Suzuki GSX motorcycle traveling south when he may have run a red-light at the intersection of Gessner and the Northwest Freeway (U.S. Highway 290). The motorcyclist stuck the trailer of an 18-wheeler traveling east on the service road.
